But my laptop *is* a now Lenovo T480 refurb and I do like it :-)

Thanks for posting. I'm on my third or fourth ThinkPad - this one a X1 
series. That's over <mumble> somewhere north of 25 years, so the darn 
things last. When it goes to the big bit bucket in the sky, I anticipate 
replacing it with another ThinkPad.

I keep a server at home, and when the previous one was on its way out - a 
consumer-grade HP - I popped for a Lenovo ThinkSystem T250 to replace it.
