I still have my GS+ magazine from vol 4 #5 to vol 7 #1. but I have no gs to read the disks with. Does anyone have disk images then could send me? I would be willing to take pictures of the magazine and disks to prove ownership. I am thinking of starting up a project but would love to have those old programs as a reference to help get me started and to dust off my GS programming skills.

If the disks are 3.5 inch, older Macs can also read these disks.
A II+/IIe/IIc can read the disks, but some files may not be copyable if the files are forked.

Although, I have a copy program that unforks files, copies them to a disk image, then forks them back, that works under Prodos 8 and on any Apple II.

Do you have any other Apple computers on hand that accept your disks?

Haven't these already been copied? I remember reading about the whole BRCC
collection being uploaded a few years ago.

Somebody uploaded a pretty large file 100+ Mb to Asimov in 2015

The brcc archive was mine. If it is on asimov, that is cool for preservation. I want to make all diskazines and public domain disks available in a dedicated folder on brutaldeluxe.fr instead of the public folder where the archive was.

I see two archives that are identical in size (101 MB) here : ftp://ftp.apple.asimov.net/pub/apple_II/images/pd_collections/brcc/

Duplicates? Can't tell as I can't download this stuff from work.

Ummm.. no? I don't see anything that is duplicated in size... and names
suggest different dates of capture:

Ahhh, your link provided size in bytes; the one I was looking at only displayed MB so size seemed the same. Anyhow, they are within a meg of each other, are they pretty much the same archive with minor differences? Referring to ftp://ftp.apple.asimov.net/pub/apple_II/images/pd_collections/brcc/bigredcomputerclub_archive_20150508.zip and ftp://ftp.apple.asimov.net/pub/apple_II/images/pd_collections/brcc/bigredcomputerclub_archive_20151108.zip

I don't know, as I'm not going to download them either. But given the
file names, surely we can reasonably deduce they are captures of the
(accumulating) library at two different points in time, no?

The two libraries are from the same source: my computer. The most recent one (and, thus complete, even if still imcomplete) is the one at http://www.brutaldeluxe.fr/products/gs/

AV: Maybe you could post a comparison in size for us (or me if no-one else cares) to see how much has been added. Your link doesn't have a .zip file so it can be compared with Asimov.

Also if you don't think you have the complete set, I have a pretty extensive collection as well of BRCC disks. I think it was someone in charge of AMUG (Alberta Mac Users Group) that gave me his collection of IIGS software.
