So I "ported" the game Kerbal Space Program to the Apple II. It's all written in Applesoft Basic. You can see a somewhat silly video about it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RgXa2ZQsPI Or you can go to this webpage where you can get the disk image and the source code: http://www.deater.net/weave/vmwprod/ksp/ Vince

Your dos33fsprogs utilities are very handy, too. I have made a Homebrew formula for people on OS X. Nicola --- news://freenews.netfront.net/ - complaints: news@netfront.net ---

I have made a > Homebrew formula for people on OS X. glad they're useful! My work on the KSP game turned up a bug with my applesoft basic tokenizer (ATN was matching AT first, guess I had never written a program that took the ATN of anything before). So I should push out an actual release of the tools. It actually makes me wonder how the real tokenizer handles the AT/ATN case. Vince

And I had never thought about the "A TO" case, mostly because my tokenizer assumes a certain minimal amount of whitespace. thanks for the info. Vince

No one else seemed to be impressed that you have a time machine or that you managed to get some advaced technology to the year 1978, thereby proving you have a time machine. I am impressed. But seriously, great job on the work and the video. m

I am impressed. The time circuits were actually a lot more work to build than the KSP port so it's good I finally got to use them for something useful. I've always intended to make them car-mountable (maybe even trying to display the speed from over the CANbus) but I haven't had time recently. I should do something fun like take a Raspberry Pi back to a Homebrew Computing Club meeting and sell it for an inflation-adjusted $35, though I suppose that might distrupt the timeline a little. You should update the wikipedia page of KSP. Good job! Antoine
