Is anyone interested in converting Windows BMP files to Apple II Double Lo-Res Graphics files and using these in your Apple II programs? I have updated the DLOGR (Double Lo-Res Graphics) section of the Apple Oldies Website at http://www.appleoldies.ca/azgraphics33/ I now also include an example for the BASIC programmer as well as some new documentation and additional information and stuff for other interested parties. In particular please give the following new document a good read: Using BMP2LO.exe to Create DLOGR (Double Lo-Res Graphics) Files from Windows BMP files: http://www.appleoldies.ca/azgraphics33/UsingBMP2LOToCreateApple2_DLOGRFiles_Dec2012.pdf While I am trying to be more inclusive as I age gracefully, Aztec C Programming for the Apple II remains the primary focus of this update. If you are using the Apple II DOS 3.3 MS-DOS cross-compiler you have two options and can either download the update and add it to whatever you have or you can download the compiler again with all the updates that I have done lately, and if you haven't downloaded this bundle before please feel free to do so: 1. DLOGR 2012 Update for Aztec C Apple33 DOS 3.3 Distribution (includes BMP2LO.exe): http://www.appleoldies.ca/azgraphics33/DLR.zip 2. Aztec C Cross-Compiler Apple33 DOS 3.3 Distribution Updated December 19, 2012 (includes BMP2LO.exe, etc): http://www.aztecmuseum.ca/Apple33.zip BMP2LO.exe is distributed as a free utility and as noted is part of the much larger Aztec C Museum project at www.aztecmuseum.ca which is targeted at C programming on legacy platforms like the Apple II. It is distributed with the Aztec C Cross-Compiler Apple33 DOS 3.3 Distribution. Note: You do not need to run the compiler to use BMP2LO.exe and as noted above it is available as a smaller download from the Apple Oldies Graphics Page at http://www.appleoldies.ca/azgraphics33/ as an individual update for the Aztec C Apple33 DOS 3.3 Distribution.
