I did some experiments last nigh, and used the CLRSCR Monitor subroutine to find it is now working great! Is it a good idea to use these subroutines for drawing sprites/printing sentences, or should I be studying Look-Up Tables?

For displaying a static screen, the ROM routines are fine. If you need a little animation, they're probably still fine. If you want a lot of pixels animated, you'll probably want to write to screen memory directly using your own routines. -- -michael - NadaNet 3.1 and AppleCrate II: http://michaeljmahon.com

Most games take over complete control of the hardware anyways -- but if you're writing a text / GR game it wouldn't hurt to do things "right" to minimize any potential issues.

Looks like I've got more studying/practice to do! Thanks alot to all whom are helping me learn 6502 assembly. Two decades ago, programmers would not dispense ANY info on this language, not even for videogame ROM hacking. I hope when I finally make a 'good program' it will make good use of your help.
