I just load the mini-assembler in a free part of lower 48k memory and use the Ctrl-Y to engage it.

or, if you like the "!" to enter the mini-assembler then type this.

300: 20 05 c3 c9 a1 d0 6 20 (address of mini-assm)
30a:18 90 f3 60

then change $BE32.BE33 to $300

It has also been noted somewhere that you can type source code into a text file and exec the text file into the mini-assm. Labels cannot be used, but one can create comments after a semi-colon, which will be ignored by the mini-assm.

and instead of an ORG, you start the text file with:

CALL -151
CALL

Grrrr! Just noticed it was a post from 2010. What got me is, all the posters in this thread are still here in the forums today.

When someone replies to an old thread, in google groups it becomes the top thread showing however many posts are in this thread, but it doesnt show when the thread was created, just when the last reply was. Until I click on the thread to read it.

Usually (Ok, always), I just start reading without looking at the date stamp. But usually I can identify an old thread when someones name is present that I don't recognize. But, like I said, everyone in this thread is still active today.

I should have known better when I saw 9 unread posts. I usually don't get that far behind that I have to catch up on my reading.
