Hi Rob, To digress - to deviate or wander away from the main topic or purpose in speaking or writing; depart from the principal line of argument, plot, study, etc. OT - off-topic... somewhat. Just to oneupdate your update... the status of the http://home.swbell.net website really wasn't my point... the references in my many sources are not intended for revision... they are in fact to credit their original authors... a practice known as "attribution" by some. I must confess that I appreciate Jeff Hurlbert (Rubywand) and his contributions, including his DOS 3.3 Aztec C mini-manual and feel honured to have corresponded with him. Another sad thing is that the mouse notes that I posted here are my source code comments. What is sad about this is that many programmers' sources that I have seen don't really know what a source code comment is... and many that I have seen wouldn't know a line of C code with embedded 6502 assembly if it jumped from the page and bit them on the nose. That really isn't that sad of course, especially if you don't want your code to be of any use at all by others or by yourself years later, and of course I am not going to make a career of updating source code comments, and I dare say that there is in fact more mouse related information in my source code than in some other FAQ that is not directly related to the topic of a mouse. Fishing as always has been good both where I am and where you are... it's the worsening arthritis and human frailty that is of more concern as I navigate my 66th year on this planet... Bill
