Was this intentional? An error? Either way, it's a behaviour of Firefox

I suppose you're referring to the link in my previous mail.
Unfortunately, I can't reproduce your experience.
When I click on the link in Thunderbird on a Windows 7 machine, Firefox 4.0
gets fired up, after which a proper download follows.
Or did I just misunderstand your comment?
