Hi Can anyone give some tips on how to get DDT 1.89 running on :- RPC 4.02 SA? Viewfinder By the way - is it surposed to work with the 'Beagleboard'? So my quick example - which works with '!DeskDebug' seems to just freeze the machine except for the mouse pointer/keyboard. The screen stays the same. If Alt/Break is pressed there is a beep. Then needs a Ctrl/Break to reset the computer. The '!Librarian' prog info - 'ASSEMBLER' file talks about a demo program called 'Buggy' - can anyone provide a short example of a file that demo's 'DDT' Thanks -- Colin Ferris Cornwall UK

A follow on - since I can get it work on the 'Iyonix' - does 'DDT'
program ver 1.89 have issues with 'Viewfinder' ver 1.75?
ie not displaying its windows.
Thanks

Considering the way DDT and ViewFinder work that would not be a
surprise. That said, I cannot find any references to any such
incompatibility from the time when many developers were using
ViewFinder cards, so maybe this is an issue with the more modern
version 1.89 of DDT? I suggest trying 1.87 instead (dating back to
2002), that is the version I had on my ViewFinder equipped Risc PC.

Thanks for your info - that it could/should work.
I have tried the earlier version - and pressing 'Ctrl-Q' (*) quits the
program - and the screen gets slightly corrupted - but pressing F12 and
Rtn Rtn - and I am back in business - so it looks as if I can't see the
DDT windows.
I suppose you can't remember which version of 'ViewFinder' software you
were using back then?
(*) using '!Librarian' - seems way faster than '!PDF' manuals.
I was wondering whether the manuals could be converted to 'ebook' format
to show on something like the 'Kindle'.
Thanks
