It is possible to try a vanilla StrongED install by unzipping !StrongED and !StrED_cfg to the same directory somewhere out of the way such as the RAM disc, quit any already running StrongED then CTRL double click the temporary !StrongED, shift-select on StrongED's iconbar icon will show where it is finding its StrED_cfg.
