I have a little problem with EFP version 5.11 and wonder if anyone has
some useful advice.

I was doing some disk housekeeping, and tidying up my Fonts collection
mostly stored in EFP.

All went well until I attempted to remove a troublesome font called
Architecture.

EFP tested and installed this font a while ago, but when activated was a
bit of a bother, so using the EFP menu option for that font I've attempted
to delete it, but that just freezes EFP, and an Alt-Break will extract me
from that, but the machine is thereafter frozen, requiring a Back button
reset.

All other fonts contained within EFP work okay, so anyone have any idea
how I can remove this one errant font?

I used to use EFP all the time. My solution to tricky fonts was remove 
by hand and recompile.

Thank you for the thought Jonathan, unfortunately I have no idea how I
would remove a font by hand and recompile.

Ooooops! Sorry. I'm confusing EFP with FDP (Font Directory Pro by 
Adrian Look).
