I am using five-gallon water bottles from the last two years and did not find any problem in water. I prefer water bottles by Samantha Springs (http://www.samanthasprings.com).

The problem with arsenic is the slow buildup.  Everything is
fine for years and then, "Adios, Pelota!"

Odd... a slow buildup usually precedes a bottom-pat, more sudden is the 
arse-nick.
