Never had much trouble with Find. Both Find Next and Previous seem to work equally well for  me. 8.0.1/win7

Thanks Sjoerd,

One machine, WinXP32 + Mathematica 8.0.0 works fine with Find.  The other,
WinXP64 + Mathematica 8.0.0, does not.

I like that they put the flash-grab highlight on the new search, that
is an improvement.  But the rest of it is still weak.
