Use the menu command
Edit | Copy As | PDF
then paste into the Word document.

Hi all,
I'm a new Mac user on OS X Snow Leopard version, and a "re-new" user
of Mathematica 8 (meaning I played around with version 7 briefly about
a year ago).
I was trying to Command+C copy and then paste a simple graphic
generated using the Plot command into MS Word for Mac, but what I get
upon pasting is a bunch of Mathematica code instead of the bitmap that
I was hoping to see.
Is this what I ought to expect? Is there any way to "fix" this issue?
Or is it necessary to first export my graphic explicitly to some image
format and then insert that image into MS Word?
Thanks in advance...
