When, once, reference was made to a statesman almost universally
recognized as one of the villains of this century, in order to
induce him to a negative judgment, he replied: "My situation is
so different from his, that it is not for me to pass judgment".

In fact it has considerably more writers than it has readers.

Actually, the writers in this group are the same two people. One is
completely insane, and the other (the OP in this thread) is an
incompetent spam robot. But neither of those two writers ever read
anything.

Other than that, it's just a few lost innocents who think "A group about
programming? That sounds interesting".

I want to really believe, that the people, who are writing and reading the messages are interested of programming or real programmers.

Amine doesn't read anything - not even his own posts. (He is the
completely insane poster I mentioned.) You don't read anything - you
are the incompetent spam robot I mentioned. If this group had any
serious use left after Amine moved in, you seem intent on destroying it.

There are a few of us who see posts in this group, and try to help any
lost souls that optimistically try to post something about programming.

He has answered to me.

Even though my family name is Robam, I am not a robot.

Ever since you joined this group, you have posted a stream of absolute
crap with adverts for "chat sites", bits of html, random replies to
other posts, and assorted nonsense, and have changed your posting name
multiple times.

As a spam poster, you are totally incompetent as these posts will not
get you any traffic or new users.

If you are a real person trying to join a programming community, you are
equally incompetent as you post gibberish.

If you are sane, and a real programmer, then feel free to post
programming questions here.

Excuse me, I am a real programmer, who knows very much of programming.
I am trying to keep this group alive by posting replies to topics, but I seem not to have much feedback
to these posts and I am wondering why not. Except when I now got your feedback.

Seriously?

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and accept that for now - and
accept that you have good intentions. In that case, let me tell you
that in practice you are doing a big disservice to the group - if it
were not already basically dead as the result of Amine's postings, you
would have chased away most other people.

If you want to be a positive force in this group, and get it back to
some more programming questions, then that is /great/. But if you want
to be taken seriously, then there are a few things you should do:

1. Pick /one/ name, with one spelling, and stick to it.

2. Stop trying to reply to Amine. He has been doing this for a decade
or more, and does not inhabit the same world as the rest of us.

3. If you want to reply to someone who posts nonsense, especially Amine,
do not quote their entire post to add a pointless comment at the end.

4. Don't post swaths of incomprehensible html or other web code. If you
have a programming question about javascript, write the question and use
small snippets of code as necessary.

5. Don't advertise to chat sites and other such questionable sites. In
fact, don't advertise at all.

6. Don't post code or links to code unless it is relevant to a
discussion or question. No one cares about some php code you wrote. If
you have a /question/, or a problem, or have learned something fantastic
about programming that you want to share with others - that's great. If
you want comments, suggestions or advice about code, that's fine too.
But write a post asking for that - don't just dump a pile of illegible
code in a post and expect others to be interested.

7. Remember this is a place for grown-ups. Try to act like one. And
cut the sexism and inappropriate language.

If you are looking for a "cool" and "happening" place, this is not it.
Usenet is mostly populated by more mature people. We don't do emojies
or multiple exclamation marks. But if you want a serious discussion on
serious topics, you are welcome here.
