The decision to reject the free offer of salvation by Jesus Christ comes with a price tag... http://biblehub.com/kjv/john/3-18.htm 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. ...it leaves you under condemnation, to be cast into eternal Hellfire after you leave this world. There's no coming back from that. No do overs. It's why God sent us Jesus ... to set us free from that end. Thank you, Rick C. Hodgin

Stories do usually have good lessons for kids to learn from. They are told to alter the way they think in the future, having learned from that lesson, so they do something different than might otherwise seem obvious or natural. The Bible definitely tells a story, and the lessons contained therein are also for all of us learn from it, and then alter our future actions. You can stand in summary judgment of the Bible's contents, Mr. Man-wai Chang. That decision will cost you your eternal soul after you leave this world. Or, you can read it and study it and seek to know for yourself if it's real. If you seek with a true heart's intent, you will come to find out it is real, the story it tells is the fall of man, and of man's redemption through Jesus Christ. And it will be that knowledge which will set you free from the judgment of sin from the fall. Don't be so quick to judge, Mr. Man-wai Chang. Be quick to learn, and prove out what I'm telling you for yourself ... because I'm not the only one out there telling you these things. And all of us are telling you them for a reason. Thank you, Rick C. Hodgin

Serving God, serving the Holy Church, serving your chapels, and reading stories are completely different things. :) -- @~@ Remain silent! Drink, Blink, Stretch! It is given to man by God's own Holy Spirit. There is one author from beginning to end, but it is written through many men by the guidance of His Holy Spirit. We are called to serve God. We are called to be with other believers. That can be in a formal church, or an informal church, but it is Jesus Himself who had John send letters to the /churches/ in the book of Revelation. If you read the Bible, and seek the truth, God will guide you Himself in your own life and in your own understanding to those things He has planned for you. It's the influence and guidance of His Holy Spirit at work for all who believe in Him. It's all there before you, Mr. Main-wai Chang. Seek after God. Seek to learn about God. If you set your honest and true sights on this end, God Himself will make sure you find it. Do not seek after men. And do not seek after a specific church. Seek after God, and let Him move in your life. Thank you, Rick C. Hodgin

And do not seek after a specific church. > Seek after God, and let Him move in your life. It is important, by the way, if you can see the corruption in the church, to learn from God rightly, and seek after His Holy Spirit in your life rightly, and enter into the church and point everybody there by your guidance, your influence, your teaching, toward that which they should be heading toward, and away from that which is serving that corruption in the church. God seeks those who will serve Him rightly. He seeks those who will serve Him rightly to stand up in their communities and do so. Our accountability is unto Him, not unto our churches, though we also have some accountability to our fellow man, but with regards to who we should learn from first, who we should follow first, who we should look to first for our right and proper understanding, it is always God. God needs men and women of honor and faith in Jesus Christ, those who are born again and seeking after His Holy Spirit, to rise up in this world and teach the people everywhere about His Kingdom, about eternity, about sin, about judgment upon sin, about eternal damnation and Hellfire, and how to escape that judgment through, and only through, Jesus Christ. Why only Jesus? Because He is the only man in history, born of women, who has not had any sin. Because He had no sin, He could take our sin and transfer it to Himself. It's part of the system seen in Judaism with the animal sacrifices. Those were temporary offerings of blood for their sin, but must be renewed regularly because they do not endure. But because Christ is eternal, His one-time offering endures eternally for all who will believe in Him. ----- Set your sights on Him, learn of Him rightly, and then go out and teach others rightly. Guide them away from hypocrisy. Guide them toward greater service and increasing holiness, so that they may be powerful and effective Ambassadors of Christ here in this world. Eternal human souls are on the line. Our action must be toward His Kingdom, and not focused upon other things, though we will still do other things in this world, they just cannot be our primary focus, but only a means to an end, which is reaching out to the lost so they can be saved. Thank you, Rick C. Hodgin
