Normally one should not make assumptions on where a program resides, so your calling program should not have the path to the called program hardcoded. Is the called program in your %path%? Run a command window (Win+R, type "cmd", Enter), type there "the_called_program_name.exe". Is it found by Windows? But are you sure this is a path issue? The calling program could be running a command like "the_called_program /version" and parsing the output to know which version is installed. -- LL
