I have some DOS programs that I want to upload to the internet. The problem is that I don't have my own web page. If I could upload one of them to an ftp server I'd be happy. The one I want to upload now is in its alpha stages and published for testing and developing purposes. I'd appeciate a good DOS ftp or download site. Thank you fo listening.

Pick one and make a web page. -- - C'mon; do something special for the 4th... - What, jail time?

E.g., here are two: To share a file: http://www.filedropper.com/ For free web hosting: http://www.110mb.com/ As for uploading to an ftp site, I think most anonymous ftp sites "died" with the browser based internet. Even if you find one, it'll likely just be a mirror and not allow uploading of new content. I haven't seen a new DOS file added to any of the old DOS sites (Simtel, Garbo, etc) in years, but maybe they still allow it. I think the era of people being able to upload to collections of related files is mostly over. Nowadays, you have websites that just go around and archive stuff from existing websites, mostly commercial software, e.g., download.com, fileplanet.com, majorgeeks.com, tucows.com, etc. Rod Pemberton

No new anonymous DOS ftp sites? That's bad. :( For now, I just want to distribute an alpha of a program for testing/feedback/code donation purposes. It doesn't need a host site: just a site for publishing.

There must be more dyslexic programmer's out there than I realized. ;-) It seems I get that alot on Usenet. It used to irk me, but no more. So, don't worry about it. But, I still like to make people aware of it when they do it. :-) Rod Pemberton
