#3545 — Testing TLS?

gmail's web-based access is intolerable.

I've got a nice emailer, that I want to interface to TLS.

Is it viable to test/confirm TLS between a PC & RPI over the
ethernet connection?

If so, what software would be used, under linux?

==TIA

If your email client knows TLS use server imap.gmail.com on port 993.
If not, find an email client that does know TLS.

Or install stunnel.
