Hello.

I'm using 11.04 (Natty) and have just followed the instructions on
configuring a vpn tunnel as posted in this tutorial (http://goo.gl/
u4TKk).


I can connect to the vpn service but once connected, I can not browse.
I keep getting dns errors.
I added opendns and google server addresses in the "advanced" settings
for the vpn connection but this did not seem to help.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Check the output of
ifconfig -a or ip addr (interface configuration)
route -n or ip route (routing table)
cat /etc/resolv.conf (DNS configuration)
iptables-save (firewall rules)

Test the result of
basic IP connectivity (ping -n, traceroute -n)
DNS queries (dig, nslookup, host)
