#4049 — NFS UID mapping

From"S.K.R. de Jong" <SKRdJ@nowhere.net>
Date2017-04-27 21:40 +0000
SubjectNFS UID mapping
Message-ID<odtog9$bf7$1@news.albasani.net>
I have an NFS server S which exports directories to be mounted in
a client C. The directories exported are owned by a user that has a UID
U1.

Is it possible to export the directories, so that when mounted in
C they are owned by a user that has a UID U2 in C, with U1 different from
U2?

rpc.ugidd would be the thing you are looking for. IIRC.
