I have this USB thermal receipt printer which prints correctly any plain text echoed to its /dev/usb/lp0 device from command line but doesn't seem to be supported by CUPS and searching for the USB device identifier (1ba0:220a) leads to nothing. Assuming it's a clone of a better known make:model, does anyone know of a way to test it through say a script which tries various drivers, or if possible by querying the printer for more data to attempt to create one? http://www.jolimark.com/en/product/detail.php?proid=VFA1MTA= Thanks!
