I spent several years using MythTV, but its rate of progress was slow, now I switched to TVheadend and it seems pretty complete, just choose your tuners wisely, don't buy one that has out-of-tree drivers, or you'll be having to keep them tweaked for later kernels ... I've been very impressed with a combined DVB-T2/S2/C2 card from Hauppauge (sp?)

Pluto IS 'commercial' - there ARE 'commercials' - but then I'm used to that. No probs so long as I don't need a subscription. Do THOSE and then there will be an unending bombardment of ads and spyware.

I have searched for information on it. This is a press release from 2004, in Spanish: <https://www.marketingdirecto.com/digital-general/digital/siemens-gigaset-m740-av-la-perfeccion-en-home-entertainment> There should be more information in German somewhere. Museum piece: <https://ceres.mcu.es/pages/ResultSearch?txtSimpleSearch=Gigaset%20M740%20AV&simpleSearch=0&hipertextSearch=1&search=simpleSelection&MuseumsSearch=&MuseumsRolSearch=11&listaMuseos=null> Google tells me that something similar could be the "Vu+ Duo 4K Lite". It says it comes blank and you have to install community firmware to make it work. Price around 350€. <https://padredefamilia.com/vu/1363-vu-duo-4k-lite> -- Cheers, Carlos. ES🇪🇸, EU🇪🇺;

It is impressive, but dbb-t is dead here now, all dvb-t2 The liite Chinese box for terrestial TV I use can do timeshift too, althoug I never use that It has an Ethernet interface and HDMI connector, even analog audio and video out. Even has a main power connector (no wll-wart needed. The even smaller Chinese satellite box had only HDMI out and needs a wall-wart but accepts a USB memory stick. Happy with both. Editing I can do if needed by taking that USB memory stick and putting it in a PC (Raspberry here). When its memory stick gets full, I copy/move stuff to the 4 TB harddisc so it has space again create a subdirectory, last one satellite_6/ as you can see below raspberrypi: /mnt/sda2/video # l total Probably using the ISP DNS. Yes, that is what they do to control what you see, they could actually send you to any fake website that way. Are you running Linux, and changed /etc/resolve.conf like shown above and then tried again?

Not that simple, I run dnsmasq on this computer. And it asks another computer using bind. If I were interested in reading that site I would do something, otherwise I don't bother. -- Cheers, Carlos. dnsmask:
server=/valinor/192.168.1.16
server=80.58.61.250
server=80.58.61.254
server=2a02:9000::aaaa
server=2a02:9000::bbbb
server=1.1.1.1
server=1.0.0.1
then bind:
forwarders { 80.58.61.250; 2a02:9000::aaaa ; 1.1.1.1; 80.58.61.254; 2a02:9000::bbbb ; 1.0.0.1; };
Can I use 8.8.8.8? Sure, then google tracks me better.
The quick solution for me is to use tor, if interested.

Wall to wall Russian lies of course. Not really and not as bad as what streams out of the war house ape. >"Britain’s elites want you ready to die for a war they keep imagining" >etc etc Yes, they need jobs, so war creates jobs UK is not doing well financially, especially after leaving the EU. But EU with Van der Lying or whatever that women's is, clearly plays the same game business giving money to defense to build destructive weapons Strange they give money to YouCrane and sanction Russia, while it is YouCrane (well US CIA work's 'lensky is a CIA clown) that blew p North-stream 2 pipeline making gas much more expensive for many Europeans and forcing them to buy YouAsh fuel, see the CIA plot? In Germany, AFD party now getting ever bigger, they are for better relations with Russia, so am I. The people are fed up with the YouAsh's (it soon will be that) games of making war using unrest triggered by SeeEyeA agents just to sell their crap weapons (F35 flew over this morning dangerous noise so loud, what a piece of shit the F35 is!!! You need no radar, 2 less than 1 dollar electret mikes can locate it . Stealth??? with that noise?, and the poor govs buy it.
