Churchill said of America that it can 'always be relied upon to do the
right thing - after exhausting every other alternative'.

I think this is a universal truth. Obama Biden and Trump are the price
we have had to pay to let this process play out.

Its no different in the UK. Except we have four, maybe five potentially
viable parties.

Heh heh ... some Truth in that ! :-)

Somewhere, "America" still has a "moral/ethical center"
that steers us towards "right/just" solutions - eventually.
UK and some others now ... more like Sharia law perspective
more and more. You are what you eat - and the UK/EU has
   swallowed WAY too many Islamists.

> I think this is a universal truth. Obama Biden and Trump are the price

Put aside the MSM hype. Obama was an "ok" president and
so is Trump. Slightly different notions of the "right
thing" but not THAT different. The USA has never had
a "radical" POTUS. If it ever does then the USA and
much of the world is just FUCKED.

Biden was NEVER the POTUS ... just his auto-pen.
Trump was right to put a picture of the thing
   on the wall.

   "Culpable" parties ..... :-)

After WW2, the USA had nukes and a huge army.
We COULD have literally taken the world. We
did not. Outright "empire" gives us a sour
   stomach.

Why buy a cow when they're giving milk away for free? Send in the

Gee ... what MAJOR "TDS" !

Wondering ... SUCH an investment in Trump ...
what happens in a couple years when he's
out of the race ? The whole massive TDS
equation just COLLAPSES. The cult of anti-Trump
   cannot survive WITHOUT Trump.

   Should be fun.

The political/psychological fallout will be worse
than that. By so energetically framing Trump as

   he's out of the picture.

WHO will exploit that void, and HOW ?

Better a Barbie doll than Little Marco. The world doesn't need a

Nah, Karoline Leavitt resigned to "spend more time with her family".

The conflict is real, the issues are carefully manufactured

In some cases, I also think so.

   Russian propaganda/schemes ARE relevant, but
even Moscow isn't strong enough to shape the
   whole security picture.

ROFLMAO.

It was at least 20 years ago that a naturalist (David Bellamy) who was
sceptical about man made climate change vanished from the TV to be
replaced by the on message David Attenborough.

DR Kelly, who blew the whistle on WMD in Iraq (No, not really)
'committed suicide'.

Salman Rushdie is blind in one eye for writing a book about some verses
in the Q'ran

Ann Widdecombe was murdered a few weeks ago a strong voice on the
conservative right.

Charlie Kirk - again right wing - was murdered for his rhetoric.

Edwina Curry, a minister in Thatchers government, was sacked for saying
'all chickens have salmonella'. She lost her job.

Professor David Nutt said taking ecstasy was no worse than the risks of
"equasy", a term he invented to describe people's addiction to
horse-riding. He lost his job

I can assure you that people in positions of some influence had better
toe the line or they will be fired, blackballed or in extreme cases die
in mysterious cirmcunstances.

Some people felt Kirk was eliminated when he started to re-evaluate
Zionism. Of course, those people are pilloried, with many new laws being
introduced about that sort of stinking thinking.

Freud did his damage but it was really his nephew that was dangerous.

Lippmann, who may have mentored him to some extent was the real deal.

Well, STILL good - and likely to remain so.

BUT, if actual THREAT ... temporary work-arounds
   ARE sometimes needed.

"Ideal/ideological" is mostly great, but REALITY
sometimes intrudes. "Liberal" FDR shut down a
LOT of enemy propaganda in the 40s because it
   NEEDED to be done.

If Trump wants to CRUSH the neo-commies, well, I
