That's led to some very strange bedfellows. The paleoconservatives and other segments of the right never had much use for Israel not that they have any love for the Islamics. The majority US Jews are Democrats and some are further to the left like Sanders. So now the left doesn't like Israel which leads to some cognitive dissonance for the older lefties. Horseshoe indeed. I think US politics is going to get weirder than usual in the coming years. 'Weimar' comes up more frequently in conversations.

Comparison of the propaganda is interesting. It isn't in the news cycle today but often the western press reports on Ukrainian civilians killed by Russian drones. Oddly RT reports on Russian civilians killed by Ukrainian drones. Sometimes there is an element of humor. https://www.rt.com/russia/644451-rt-speaks-with-russian-farmer-fined- firing-ukrainian-uav/ "Nikolay Mukhin has said his love for his country drove him to try to down the drone with his shotgun" You've got to give the old guy an A for effort. He was fined for discharging the shotgun and the shotgun was confiscated but the court reversed the decision. He would so fit in around here. That propaganda war isn't a pimple on the ass of the Middle East propaganda. Even the US MSM is having a hard time reporting on that with a straight face.

Both communism and corpocracy have one thing in common. No decisions or wealth should be left in the hands of the little people. We are slaves, either to the State or the Company. And as they call it in Communist [ANC] run South Africa, 'State Capture' ensures that they are essentially the same thing. -- "When a true genius appears in the world, you may know him by this sign, that the dunces are all in confederacy against him." Big Business and State Socialism are very much alike, especially Big Business.” “Too much capitalism does not mean too many capitalists, but too few capitalists.” G.K. Chesterton https://www.chesterton.org/quotations/economic-theory-and-distributism/ Chesterton and Belloc's distributism followed from Catholic social doctrine which followed from Leo XIII's Rerum Novarum. https://www.vatican.va/content/leo-xiii/en/encyclicals/documents/hf_l- xiii_enc_15051891_rerum-novarum.html The current Leo certainly isn't equivalent to his namesake. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Distributism

Six out of seven of the members of the underground anarchist cell were actually undercover detectives of various agencies.
