I once imported the last two mid range units from a particular (Spanish) manufacturer that I could find to repair my 45 year old loudspeakers. From Australia! And then they didn't fit. I had to 3D print adapter rings. I repaired the bass and treble units with parts from China, of course The import from Oz was not too painful. I did import a Fender part for a loudspeaker from USA. Bloody expensive but it got here OK -- In todays liberal progressive conflict-free education system, everyone gets full Marx.

Pi0s were supposed to be DIRT CHEAP - now they're "exotic", EXPENSIVE, tech. This is not all 'tariffs' either. Pi stuff was always way over-priced if you bought it in the USA.
