Take a look at the finance news on TV. Nobody talks about the price of a share, only its "value". This so-called value fluctuates from day to day, depending on factors like what lies Trump told today. Did the true worth of the company change? No, only its "value". I haven't had my house valued, but judging from current rates of inflation a valuer would probably tell me that its value is $1 million. Is it really worth more than double what I paid for it, a dozen or so years ago? Not at all. The valuer is estimating what I could sell it for. Price, not value. Pascal was not designed for process control, robotic arm manipulations, and other real world activities. I made money writings libs, modules, or whatever Pascal used for extensions. I forget what they were called.
