there was a program called linsched out of the unc which was last seen on the kenerl.org git archive. It seems to have disappeared. There are no branches for it on kernel.org and all you can do is clone the repository which downloads seemingly the entire source tree for the kernel. git clone git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/pjt/linsched.git can't seem to just check it out, although I'm not particularly well versed in git. It seems to have disappeared. See the original website: http://www.cs.unc.edu/~jmc/linsched/ The git repository (https://github.com/jontore/LinSched) notes that the available version there is deprecated, and refers to a different site, which seems to be down. However, the original website offers a direct download: http://www.cs.unc.edu/~jmc/linsched/linsched.bz2 I can' vouch for the code; it may not be current and/or may not reflect the state of the scheduling system in Linux 3 or 4. -- Lew Pitcher "In Skills, We Trust" PGP public key available upon request
