It looks cool superficially -

But I'm damned if I can find a way to get it to:

a) TRIGGER on a JSON web API or anything vaguely generic;

b) DO a JSON API or even a generic (authenticated) HTTP GET.

Right now all it seems to do is let you do silly stuff like "IF
weather=Raining THEN DO post a tweet".

Am I missing something or is it just a load of daft old bollocks?

I only had it installed for about five minutes so I'm no expert, but
what I saw seemed that it was a bunch of social network connectors.
It couldn't even do much of anything with the phone itself. So you'd
probably have to write a plugin for it to do what you want.

That's what I'm figuring - all seems a bit pointless...

Anyone had any dealings with lightweight android app development
platforms? MIT's app inventor seems interesting - but it's still hard to
see how to get it to do a low level operation.
