My mate's Win*** has got a nice manageble speed mouse;
altho' he only needs it to point at cartoons.

I need to discriminate the colon in "x:y" in proportional font!

So it took me an hour to track down HOW2 slow-down gpm.

But then there's X.
So I dug-out the BIG-file that I'd started last year: SlowMouse

`pstree` shows you <which processes you're using for X>
For me its: ---startx(3705)---xinit(3721)-+-X(3722)
                       `-blackbox(3727)
...which after a looong journey leads to /etc/X11/xorg.conf
and `man xorg.conf`

My /etc/X11/xorg.conf has got
Option	    "ZAxisMapping" "4 5 6 7"
 but man xorg.conf has no mention of ZAxis

Imagine, every time you 'upgrade' you must suffer this punishment.

Little wonder that people just use M$loth & KFC?

GIYF: searching for |zaxismapping| gives "About 143,000 results (0.23 seconds)"

The answer is out there.

	Lazy maybe not.  But poor language skills can
lead to hesitance in using Google along with arcane
computer jargon in which relatively few are conversant.

	They have no problems with finding cute pictures of
kitty-cats but "cat" confuses them no end.

I upgrade my system all the time, and I have no idea what problem you are 
trying to describe.

Linux is much easier to use than it ever was, but it still isn't for 
everyone, and probably never will be.  Which is a good thing.

I agree, the quality of trolling sure has deteriorated ever since 
Microsoft decided to outsource that to independent contractors.  Trolls 
were much more humorous when Microsoft were still sending out their own 
employees into newsgroups dedicated to what they perceived as "competing 
platforms".

If we could keep-out the F/B,twitter kiddies', football tribalism
resistance to self criticism, we'd better be able to fix many of

If you think this approuch to the end you get a copy of the Microsoft
world.
