This is always a great event, with plenty of good conversation and
 refreshments.

The April OpenITP Techno-Activism Third Monday will be this
Monday April 15 2013. This month we will be meeting with
 Access<https://www.accessnow.org/>at their NYC offices. Access,
formerly known as Access Now is a global movement premised on the
belief that political participation and the realization of human
rights in the 21st century is increasingly dependent on access to
the internet and other forms of technology. Founded in the wake
of the 2009 Iranian post-election crackdown, Access teams with
digital activists and civil society groups internationally to
build their technical capacity and to help them advocate globally
for their digital rights. TA3M is an informal meetup designed to
connect techno-activists and hacktivists in the New York area who
work on or with circumvention tools, and are interested in
 anti-censorship and anti-surveillance tech.The event will start
at 6pm but, unlike previous meetups, will not be at the OpenITP
SOHO offices. Registrants will be emailed the address. Admission
 is free.
