Please stop using googlegroups. Not necessarily because of its source of
spam, but because it keeps sticking in blank lines into the posts. Every
line is converted into blank like plus that line. The result is almost
entirely unreadable-- see the mess it produces below.

I have no idea what that means. computers typically have one single IP
addresses assigned to them. Do you really want a huge bunch of addresses
assigned to a single computer? How will these be used by the rest of the
world? Or perhaps you mean that you want that computer to be able to
talk to a bunch of IP addresses. In that case you have to change the
routing tables. ("route add " for example).
"I have no idea what "configuration information" is.

No idea what it is that it is supposed to do. Once you figure it out how
to do it by hand, automating it will be easy. But if you have no idea
what you are doing, automating it will not make it easier.

Google is currently beta-testing a new version of Google Groups which supports "rich text", described rather vaguely on the test page as "supporting colors and fonts". Imagine what a mess that's gonna make of Usenet... :-/ -- = Aragorn = (registered GNU/Linux user #223157)

The definition of insanity is... doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Why are you people trying to solve this ones problem, One can plainly see that he/her is driving you people crazy. My advice is for you to simply move on.

And lacking details, what he/she wants seems very shady...
Anyone else notice that when asked a direct question as to what they want
to accomplish, a sidestep occurs?
