Just for fun, install xmessage if not already installed, put the
following in a file, say aa
  env > xmsg.tmp
  nohup xmessage -display :0  -file xmsg.tmp 2> /dev/null  &
  sleep 30
then try
  at -f $HOME/aa now+1minute
