The job paid 100000 pesetas, 600€. The rent of the room where I lived 
was 40000 pesetas. With the rest I had to pay food and gas, plus 
everything else. I even had to pay taxes⁽¹⁾.  My family had to help me 
survive.

(1) Normally in the pay slip here, there is a portion that is paid as 
taxes, managed by the employer. Meaning the pay would be 100000 plus 
maybe 15000 in taxes. This employer managed to pay only 3000 in taxes, 
so I had to pay the rest when filling the tax form once a year, 12000 
per month. He cheated me of 12000 per month.
