Hi,
	I have system containing an ASRock M3A785GXH/128M AM3 AMD 785G 
HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard, which freezes about once a week. The memory 
passes memtest. The mb is under manufacturer's warantee but I would 
rather not rma it due to the delay involved. The advice I get from the 
manufacturer's support is to update the bios with the memory removed. 
Which I can probably accomplish. In addition I am supposed to:

Insert 1 memory module only with proper dram voltage that require with 
ram, (DRAM voltage)

Adjust the DRAM freq as well, save and exit out the bios.

Go back into the bios again, and make sure the 1st memory is being proper 
detect under the bios. If it does, then install the 2nd memory module.

·         Repeat the same steps above, until you have all  memory 
install. If for some reason you still not able to get the all ram detect 
properly. Please do let us know we glad to swap the board for you. Thank 
you.

·         You can leave the memory timing on auto (press F9) load default 
setting from Bios.

I am in over my head here. There are directions available for updating 
the bios but I haven't figured out how to adjust the dram voltage (there 
are directions for overclocking but I can't find anything in the bios 
about memory voltage) and I don't know what the memory frequency should 
be (it is ddr3 1600).
	Any ideas would be appreciated, jwc

Throw it it the trash and get a new motherboard ( not another asrock )

Read the motherboard manual. All what you require is in there (page 58 
for the DRAM voltage) as part of the OC tweaker screen. Watch this 
screen has a scroll bar...

Quite why you need to 'tweak' for standard memory and processor is a 
good question. What memory and processor are you using? Is the memory in 
the correct socket for dual channel use?

Is the motherboard power supply sufficiently rated for the rest of the 
rig, and can it run a session of mprime without crashing?

	Thanks for the reply. In the mb documentation it says that
to use ddr3 1600 memory you have to overclock. Otherwise it defaults
to 1333.	 
	As a result of the usual trial and error confusion, with some 
help from Asrock customer service, I upgraded to bios to the most
recent version, overclocked the memory and increased the memory
voltage. The last step was really a guess. The memory is supposed
to be 1.5V. The default value in bios is 'auto', whatever that is.
The lowest manual setting is 1.48V and the next is 1.53V. I chose
1.53V.
	The sum of all these steps has provided my system with
stability. I hope it stays that way.
