#1926 — No version 20.0?

Unfortunately there is not very high intensity in the changelogs right 
now. I was hoping for a release with a version bump to Slackware 20.0 for 
17/7 2013 with T-shirts and stuff from the Slackware store to celebrate 
20 years with Slackware.

Now it seems as if the 20th birthday of Slackware is going to pass by 
unnoticed. The next version of Slackware will probably not be released 
until in few months and my guess is that it will be called version 14.1. 
The Slackware store has no "20 years" T-shirts to order, maybe they will 
create a new "14.1" T-shirt to instead celebrate the release of a new 
version?

We're not going to see a new release on Wednesday, it's not that far 
along.  Some time back, I was hopeful, but it's slowed down.  Maybe they 
are waiting for something Big to be released, maybe the wavering over what 
should be in the new release (there was that notice wondering what kernel 
and such to use, a notice that the older kernel would be used, and then 
ore recently a notice that a more recent kernel would be used, I'm sure 
that causes delays in the overall progress).

But I don't think the birthday will go unnoticed.  If I was running it, I 
might wait for the day, make a big fuss of it that day, rather than 
beforehand.  So there my be a chance at tshirts.  On the other hand, that 
sort of thing seems to get in the way of the real work, so maybe not.

Yes, sorry, it was my intention to post in alt.os.linux.slackware.

I was a little confused that I couldn't find my own message which I 
posted this morning in alt.os.linux.slackware, now, instead I found it 
here in comp.os.linux hardware. Duh, my bad. Sorry again for this off 
topic. I will make a new attempt to post in the right group...
