Hello.
I think my one of old Air2PC-ATSC-PCI HDTV tuner cards, from 2005, died
earlier today since it can't seem to get any signals from any antenna.
My other one is still fine.
Does anyone know what's a good PCIE (PCI slots are hard to find in newer
motherboards these days) HDTV tuner card to get? It needs to be
compatible with both Windows XP+ (use DVB Viewers) and Linux (Debian
stable).

Wow. I thought HDTV tuner cards would be popular and supported well in
Linux. :(

Hmmm, http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Hauppauge_WinTV-HVR-2250 is
supposedly a good one, but weak Linux support (drivers haven't been
updated since 1/8/2011)?

I think I am going to get the full Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2250 package soon
which seems to be popular and supported in both Windows and Linux
including third parties.

Don't USB ones have hardware timing problems (doing multiple 1080i
recordings and playbacks) and can get very hot (my upstair room can be
up to 90F degrees). :(
