#804 — Cerfboard 255 no power an no terminal connect

I'm trying to use a Cerboard 255 but for some reason when i cut it on, i cant
 seem to connect with it through the hyper-terminal or any other terminal,,,
I'm
 using a RJ-45 to serial cable,,,I Don't no if this is the wrong cable, the
 company that had them be for me took off the USB ports,,,,any help thanks
