Just a friendly note: best/safest one for Windows without any crapware
or malware wrapper is the free one from Microsoft which works on Win2K.
WinXP. Vista and Win7 (and servers and more). Instructions and download:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/841290
Note the setting of "path" to include the new directory containing
the fciv (File Checksum Integrity Verifier) program after it's unpacked.
fciv's default is MD5 and it also does SHA1 checksumming.
