I have Signal for Linux.  Had to install it from a terminal, but it's
one of the essentials.

Dobbs rewrites this, it is invalid precedent.  States are
liable for denying needed abortions, e.g. TX.

I had issues getting Signal Desktop to work for Fedora back when I was
using Fedora.  Had to resort to Flatpak (yuk) and it failed to connect
to the account anyway.  The Debian version works nicely.

Still a bit of a bloated app.

Pretty much the same for Whatsapp is it not?
I installed it once on phone for a one-off purpose, then wiped it.

Most of my trivial everyday comms go via whatsapp. So it stays on.
