Since I moved directly from Snow Leopard to Mavericks (given how shitty Lion and Mountain Lion were), I don't know from which version onward it is missing. But in Mavericks it is definately absent. You can't define any NFS shares with Disk Utility any longer. That functionality is gone. And the other way to define it is just the worst stinking bullshit this side of Andromeda

I would expect by now, after only 30 or so years since the GUI was
first popularized, that all of the use cases would be pretty effectively
solved by now. Even new functionality brought on by new tech developed in
different fields should even be incorporated into the "solved problem".
This is the problem with payware. The problem solver always wants
another payday regardless of whether or not he deserves any more.
