Because of the hoopla over the Birth Date field (nonsense that I don't follow) someone has decided to fork systemd. The result is hilariously named Liberated Systemd: <https://linuxiac.com/someone-forked-systemd-over-its-new-birth-date-field/> Systemd is the lowest form of junk to ever enter the GNU/Linux universe. It is enslavement and degeneracy in the flesh and to refer to an innocuous fork as being "liberated" is the pinnacle of hypocrisy.
