Marek admitted Carroll repeatedly asked him to lie:

 Marek <NPWdnVgF_NwsozXEnZ2dnUU7-YvNnZ2d@giganews.com>:
    -----
When I first tried to broker peace between you [Steve Carroll] and
Snit, you emailed me over and over again asking be to lie about
	Glasser.
    -----

And then Marek later admitted he DOES lie, but claimed he does it simply because it pleases him to do so:

  Marek <keCdnc7hoMqpfy3EnZ2dnUU7-YHNnZ2d@giganews.com>:
    -----
    | Why do you post your attacks and insults and lies if not to please
    | the herd?

I do it to please me, Snit.
    -----

Whatever his reason for lying, even Marek admits he lies and attacks and insults.

Yep, except that they're no longer producing new content. This is as
good as it gets for those of us who worship the classic rock band.

I went to school in a college in Atchison, Kansas, and that band was, of
course, favored. I still think their "Magnum Opus"" on the "Leftoverture"
album, is a work of genius.

And some other songs on that album are great, too.

A worthy nomination from owl.

My favorite Kansas album is Masque. The songs "Icarus (Born on Wings
of Steel)"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kesio4k-dMU

and "The Pinnacle"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUzO9dzEdJ4

are both masterpieces.

I wore that album out back in the day.

A friend turned me on to these guys, just recently. They are
certainly good, and I like this kind of music, but I'm waiting to see
if they can write some really good songs, ala Pearl Jam or GNR (or
Zep).

I like that you mentioned Geddy Lee. A lot of people studying the sound
of Greta Van Fleet have said that it's like a cross between Rush and Led
Zeppelin and I doubt that the comparison offends the guys.

I think I like this better:

<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cXWbMu4PtpE>

But that was on an old set list of a band I once played in, so...

... as was this...

<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLwcvGAHtb8>

... and the Kid Creole tune 'Stool Pigeon' which I won't link to.

It was a *very* weird band ;)

All joking aside, those of you who troll are not able to control Red Hat anymore. What did Klaus Schadenfreude assume from the lying imbecile? That Meat swine has nothing to squander but time. He has nothing else, especially not a life.

I am working on an idea which will show off how weak Red Hat is. Meat-like advocates are still posting about the Red Hat "interface" as if something like that truly is something we would want. Klaus Schadenfreude obviously has a _lot_ of know-how to enlighten others and he seems to want to share it. Sadly this is arguably the worst locale for doing that because much of what he will get back is whining, lying, and other rubbish.

You didn’t like Two Princes or Jimmy Olsen’s Blues (we did a medley)

I don’t remember it sounding that thin.

All of the above mentioned tunes were brought in by our much
younger keyboardist (at least 12 years younger than our oldest
member), up to that point we were doing classic rock stuff from
the 60’s (Steppenwolf) and 70’s (Van Morrison) and vamped up
Blues tunes, i.e. Thrill is Gone with a modernized intro, and
assorted oddities... i.e. a *very* different arrangement of
Take Me To The River. We really shoulda changed the name
of the band to ‘Identity Crisis’.

I _despised_ Two Princes. I had never heard Little Miss Can't Be Wrong
though.

I like discovering old music, I have to admit. Of course, just about
everything I grew up with is now considered ancient...

Klaus Schadenfreude wants to hurt the whole group: If Klaus Schadenfreude can't get attention here then nobody will. Translation of Klaus Schadenfreude speak: His stupendous "technical support expertise" blinded him to a component he wants that does exist on Zsh shell. The only thing not working here is Klaus Schadenfreude. Klaus Schadenfreude is incontrovertibly lying, he got busted and he's doing the predictable ego protecting BS learned in trolling 101 as he does his damnedest to find a smattering of honor... but it will not work. My opinion: Even if somebody was just learning to annoy others, the notion that obtaining know-how as being one of having "NOTHING" to show for it does not make sense because you'll have the knowledge to show for it and wisdom is a powerful thing. Snit's first statement stands proper and correct. I noted specific examples of Klaus Schadenfreude flooding every group I post to, flooding every group I post to, etc. His response: to claim I am Klaus Schadenfreude. Anyway, it should not matter because the apparent origin on a post is irrelevant, it's the content that counts. Klaus Schadenfreude calls it "trolling" him, even though he continues to provoke that exact rejoiner.

14 years ago I was at a client site, and the younger people there were
referring to the station I liked as 'oldies'.

Yep. It's what I'm telling my Grade 11 students this year. Before you
know it, you're 30 and no longer cool in any way. It happens a lot
sooner than you think too. In my case, I'm about to turn 40 so, to the
kids at least, I'm in the process of dying.
