It originally wasn't, but you nevertheless said quite
unambiguously "...you can find 993's in the 30's."

YMMV to what degree you already forfeited your 'man card'
by not suggesting a 993 in the first place ;-)

Except for the unfortunate-fact-for-you that I've done no
such thing. Which is why you can't substantiate your claim.

I did? Cite please!

It merely depends on what one wants out of life. While some
are content to never travel out of Mommy's basement and donate
FOSS code, if being an accountant means that one is able to
spend weeks on holiday in Europe and elsewhere while also driving
a 911 ... and hey, also a Macan for when an SUV is needed ... so
long as the books being done aren't being cooked for the Mob,
what's so bad about that kind of life? ;-)

Reminding you to actually check on what was actually
previously said is hardly "back out".

Where your definition of "false" is to cite 45 CFR 46?

Really? Are you really sure that that's what you _remember_?

Particularly since you've been reminded to check on your
other 'recollections'? Better go check on this one too.

"that the relevant research has shown ...with statistical
significance... that having more choices correlates to
 making _lower quality_ decisions."

Still hasn't been scientifically debunked.

I said a "recent 911." There aren't any "recent" 993's.
As for man card, I didn't suggest a Carrera GT either. Or a 918.

A Macan is a shitty excuse for an "SUV".

I described a thought experiment (which is physically doable with
enough resources) and gathered answers to the question it asks.
If forget what you ended up doing after all the weaseling you
did. Did you decide to take the $1000 or go for the diamonds?

You define being a "good" man as knowing about cars. LOL!

I would say having good morals is more important... things such as NOT
calling for violence against others for merely disagreeing with you.

The whole "man card"... a "real" man knows about cars. What an absurd
standard! You show you know this by your efforts to put me on the defensive.

LOL! See how you work to move goal posts over and over and over. It is your

Make up your mind about your lies. Is it a "good" man or a "real"
man? And why would a libtard tranny like you care either way?
It's a subject that falls completely outside your realm.

OK, define what you mean by a "real man" - see if you can do this without
insults or accusations to try to put me on the defensive and obfuscate your
errors.

See: this is you just spewing random bigoted insults.

OMG. You don't even know what a man is? See what this libtard
culture rot has done to your mind?
Repeat after me: Man has dick. Woman has pussy.

I am asking YOUR defintion. To me, as I already noted, I would say it is
pretty much synonymous with a good man. But you disagreed... so what is YOUR
definition?

But, it is clear, you have dug your own grave AGAIN and will work to turn
things around.

In other words NOTHING to do with cars. Your definition changed once you

Nope. The corollary to the above is that Man likes pussy. Woman likes
dick. 911 gets Man pussy (and in a pinch can substitute for pussy).
Macan does not. Therefore Man chooses 911. Hence the demand to see
the man card from some so-called man that would choose a Macan instead,
even when choosing between a used 911 and a new Macan.

Before you noted what they HAVE... now you are speaking of what they WANT.
Your silly assumption is a gay person is not a "real" man (or woman?).

That is absurd... and bigoted.

That is not a pretty picture!

Ah, your definition included being amazingly shallow!

In other words you went from physical description to knowing / caring about
cars. You have changed your definition HEAVILY.

One *CAN* also survive falling out of an airplane without
a parachute without dying too ... but that doesn't mean that
it is a good idea.

And even from your own cite, there was only but one example
out of n=31 listed for under $40K...a 3% incidence rate, if
you ignore that the ad avoids mileage, etc. As such, the
first comment still applies: "$30K? What's wrong with it?"

Maybe, or maybe not: the above contained no such specific

A "plan" isn't an actual peer reviewed research paper,
particularly when it would constitute HSR as per 45 CFR 46.

As such, you've still failed to debunk:

"that the relevant research has shown ...with statistical
significance... that having more choices correlates to
making _lower quality_ decisions."

The fact remains that what I said was true. You can find
993's in the 30s. Only one a hemmings, but it's a big internet.

So what? Even a cabriolet that might need work is better
than a Macan.

The feds don't have to be involved for something to qualify
as "science." They also don't have to be involved for funding.
Even at this level, a curious billionaire could personally
fund the experiment out of pocket.

You failed to prove that assertion. Statistical evidence
that is of insufficient scope is useless.

And so too for my observation that one can also survive falling out of
an airplane without a parachute ... but that fact doesn't mean that it is
a generally expected outcome, as you tried to imply.

Depends on how much work, so as to satisfy "basic transportation"
threshold needs. Plus as what was already stated, a 911 just isn't
a great hauler of stuff, nor even just four adults: definitions of "better"
are a personal YMMV.

Nope, hence the 993.

See my question mark too? Once again, you should double-check
your citation sources, particularly for reading comprehension errors.

Spoken like someone who's never lived with a big old SUV to know
their downsides.

Actually, a re-emphasis of the facts.

Merely by using your own ruler on you.

Merely a more on-topic point within COLA.

Such as what Facebook did around a bit over year ago ... and
for which those involved caught hell. Need a cite?

Sorry, but in peer review land, you have no weight.

Doesn't take a 993 to validate a man card either. Any 911 will do.
Macan won't do it though. LOL. Did the salesman promise you that
it would?

Doesn't need to be a "big old SUV" to be an SUV. But those planed-off
"crossovers" don't meet the bar.

Sorry, but peers are free to review the research without

Which is some undefined "bar" of your very arbitrary choosing,
 right? Lack of quantitativeness noted.

Sorry, but all meet the same legal definition of Human Subject
Research. The Fed's rules are simply the strictest... BTW, have
you found any prohibition yet in 45 CFR 46 on using money yet?

Scientific ones, sure ... but you've still not demonstrated that
you have any standing for that, either. Sucks to be you, with
your envy of mere rumors being worn on your shirt sleeve.

You could always get a bumper sticker for your Macan that

You have not demonstrated that someone with such standing would be
prohibited from conducting this research, or be prohibited from publishing
his findings, or be automatically discredited.

What I found funny was how you crumbled when it was explained to you how
your thought experiment did NOT actually debunk science AND, even with it,
you made a case AGAIANST desktop Linux.

    -----
Overwhelm? Why would it, esp. for the first few. Realistically,
depending on how hard it was to get to rooms, how big the reward,
and other factors I may have given up after X number of rooms. As
would most. Not sure I would say that was "overwhelming" - more
just boring and not worth it.

Sort of like 700 Linux distros... though with those after you look
at a few you know the pattern: the ecosystem is very limiting and
reduces choice of how you can get actual tasks done. It provides
you with the illusion of choice but in terms of actual task
completion there is actually LESS choice. This is mostly true for
the GUI, which is what most use, when you look at the CLI Linux is
as good as any... no complaints there.

The lack of real choice is one reason why desktop Linux does
poorly. The illusion of a lot of choice when those choices are
mostly meaningless is another. Systems which allow for but do not
force many choices are generally better... that is what I show
with the print / edit PDF task I show... OS X gives me more
choices. I can do it as I would on Windows and Linux of saving to
PDF and then editing and printing, or I can use different choices
depending on how I am thinking at the moment. The extra choices
are not forced on you, and someone coming from Linux or Windows
might not even know of them, but they are easy to discover without
being disruptive, and they are relatively consistent from program
to program, allowing users to put these choices to great use.
Compare that with desktop Linux where these types of choices are
less common, and when they do exist they exist more often in
isolation where their usefulness is heavily reduced.

Yeah, once you were faced with that you snipped almost all context and
dropped your "thought experiment," until you decided to bring it up again
and pretend it is more important than actual experiments.

Comes down to you reject science.
