On Mon, 04 Feb 2019 07:19:21 -0800, Steve Carroll vomited this verbiage that I considered to be worthy of my attention for one of a variety of possible reasons: > > VSC seems to be a best fit for me. > It is so typical of this boorish fop to "select" VSC (as if this fashion faggot actually has a choice). On GNU/Linux such things were available 20+ years ago but where was this fop? From their web site: "VS Code is updated monthly with new features ..." Only an incompetent dilettante that lives for such useless dazzle could be impressed. A serious and creative programmer would prefer to work his wonders on the back of a napkin.

It was Jonas 'The Moron' Eklundh who got busted using lots of socks for years, and these are 'people' who come out of the blue straight into threads where he was getting his ass handed to him... over and over for years. How is potential gray matter tied to love of System76 in any way going to lead to intelligent group discussion? Perhaps you use it wrong. Do you not realize the use of VPN? Why would you want to restrict all programs on open source tools to what can be done on PCs and Macs? I can squash a chicken with my mind. BTW, I've already shown that his use of "cult-like" to describe Klaus Schadenfreude is not honorable, since he's likening them to crazed wildebeests. Now Klaus Schadenfreude on the other end of the line doesn't matter. All that matters is Jonas 'The Moron' Eklundh gets to deliver the payload. So how to win? Don't pay attention the phone. Logic isn't part of the equation and never can be. I thought showing him a taste of his own medicine might help the situation. It did not. -- Eight things to never feed your dog!! http://comp.os.linux.advocacy.narkive.com/711dskzA/steven-petruzzellis-admits-he-can-not-back-his-claims-about-snit http://alt.conspiracy.narkive.com/QcWYJ4Px/the-mentally-ill-mark-s-bilk http://www.5z8.info/how-to-build-a-bomb_h2o1be_peepshow Jonas Eklundh

I think the ease with which plugins can be brought in is one of the biggest factors. Sure, I can tweak vim and I have... but it often involves a larger chunk of time. One huge factor is the same that most users have, you just get used to certain things. That said, if I need to work on a really large file it'll be in the terminal or with vim, (you pretty much convinced me of that back when we were doing that stuff with NASA images).

So needless to say I regret doing a favor for Sandman. While I am sure the trolls approved of it, being nice to him made things worse. I'm getting false positives in my kill filter. I'm guessing the pea-brained circus is proving the advocates right again. Drives the trolls crazy when they do not get attention. Do not get too bigheaded, Sandman, sometimes "seemingly intelligent people" are just that. bigdog created at least 20 KVMS in the last year or so. Without Linux that would not be possible. They've got a lot done. https://github.com/VSCodeVim/Vim/blob/master/ROADMAP.md Still some things missing, but that would be the first plugin I installed if I had to use VSC. I wonder what kind of clashing you have with other plugins. Kind of ironic that an editor would have a vim plugin. Really, just use vim. :)

The "arcane" commands become embedded into your muscle memory, and you don't even think about them. Editing *anything*, not just code, then becomes so efficient that you will hate using any other editor. Just install it and practice with it on some dummy text when you don't have anything else to do. You'll thank me later.

Meanwhile Linux has no tasks it handles better. Ha! Don't be insane, dog... even you have blocked that lamebrain. Given what he is nary a soul could find fault with you for pushing to be rid of his insane brand of crap. Can ASCII characters be concatenated into a string with a logical connection to the "real" world; that is the question posed recently by those astonished at the fire-hose of nonsense from assorted google-posters and Cheetos smelling losers. - E-commerce Simplified https://youtu.be/r7wys2JvBD0 Jonas Eklundh Communication AB

Steven Carroll:
-----
I would love to see the group become that! I would love to see
people, for example, pick tasks they do with Desktop Linux which
they believe are handled better than the competition. I have
encouraged that for a long time. But so far few if any such tasks
have been shown.
-----
Marek Novotny:
-----
Linux is a Server, A Cloud, A service, A mobile Platform, A
developers dream come true, A super cluster, a Main frame and a
DESKTOP. It's not JUST a desktop. You're a two-bit bullshit coward
who refuses to face what Linux actually is. It's too much for you,
obviously.
-----
Steven Carroll (referencing to the above quote):
----
But it is not all of those things. Not even close. It is USED by
those things but it is NOT those things.
-----
Marek Novotny (some time later):
-----
Android isn't Linux. Android makes "use" of the Linux kernel.
Android is indeed open source, but it is not community driven open
source. Those that know the difference likely won't cry over Android
ditching the Linux kernel and adopting their own kernel. It simply
never mattered for all the reasons I stated above. Now the fact that
I have to articulate this in writing so these clueless tards like
DFS and Steven Carroll can gain some insights because they LACK their
own insights is what I find troubling. They both have no business
arguing in here. They are simply too stupid to have a conversation
about that which they just don't fundamentally understand in the
first place.
-----
Notice Marek uses the concepts I taught him (about how Linux is "USED" by the things he listed) then fantasizes about how I did not know the information HE got wrong and I corrected him with (and did so with no name calling or insults).
Just Wondering:
-----
I,I,I,I,I,I,I,I,I and if that wasn't enough, I,I,I,I,I,I.
Talk about a narcissistic fool.
-----
Steven Carroll:
-----
You left out his I, I, I, I. AM. BETTER. THAN. Steven Carroll AND DFS!
He is clearly feeling very insecure these days.
-----
Marek Novotny:
-----
Well, if he wants to play this game with me he'll find pictures of
his wife on imgur with dildos all over her and I can cross post
those too. Keep fucking around Steven Carroll. I can play this game too.

You'll thank me later. I've tried it a couple times. ugh. But I waste my time in other ways, so learning some vim might pay off. Here's a quick challenge for you and vim. Remove all the consecutive periods after the chapter/section descriptions, and leave 3 spaces before the page number. This is 7 lines, but the real TOC is 1030 lines.
