What "our position" are you referring to? You're the only one who said:
"Free software ensures blah blah blah..."
and you said it 7.5 years AFTER Snit's claim.
You think your claim that "Free software ensures..." anything is a
reasonable and correct statement? It's not.
ensure means to make sure with 100% certainty. So your bogus claim is
that all software people want will definitely be provided by Free
software developers if someone finds it worth the effort. You can't
know that, anymore than Snit can know "if something is desired then OSS
will be made to fit the need".
Both statements are conjecture, but Snit's is more reasonable, being
backed by years of cola posts claiming "I have the source - I did this
and such."
Yet you shrieked that Snit was lying.
So, again, what's your problem?

He didn't twist YOUR recent claim, at all.

Snit didn't make an unreasonable statement. Only you did, when you
claimed he was "lying shamelessly".
For 15+ years cola advocates have bragged about fixing, changing,
redesigning, recompiling, etc because they "have the source code".

So Snit was being 100% truthful. Only you lied shamelessly.

That's 4 more lies. I didn't ignore any points, or cherry-pick any part
of a quote, or pretend to misread something. And I certainly didn't
give Snit the benefit of the doubt; I know his style.

The cult-like herd of convenient friends value the lowest common denominator in all things.
Just bullshit from Meat. But Meat has left objectivity behind and is just holding me culpable for the acts of himself.
It was Meat who got busted using lots of accounts time and time again, and these are 'people' who come out of the blue immediately into threads where he was getting his ass handed to him... over and over for years. He's obviously flooding, he got called out on it and he's doing the familiar role-reversal buffoonery taught in Intro to Trolling classes as he attempts to find his pride... but it backfired. You can say I am Charlie Brown for all I care. How Meat decides when to use the annoying flood script for maximum impact http://usenet.sandman.net/misc/snit_flood. What is your evidence?

This turdv joker has to be the dimmest bulb in the box.
Whatever snit is or isn't, snit is fairly consistent and even though he
mixes things up, whether by design or because he has problems focusing, at
least snit tries to back his claims up. And overall, from what I have read,
he does do a decent job of it.
Compare this to people like turdv who gets body slammed over and over again
and then runs away and pretends he kill files people and snips, unread, the
messages yet he refers to those same messages with details that show he is
lying and indeed has read those messages.
Then there is RonB who is a reverse "King Midas" where everything Windows
or Microsoft he touches, turns to shit. Unlike snit, he offers no direct,
personal, proof but when challenged, he fires up google and searches for
similar Windows problems.
The key to understanding what a pathological liar RonB is, lies (pun
intended) with his claims of Linux "just working".
Anyone who runs Linux knows what a massive lie that is.

But Jonas Eklundh feels the need to insult the herd. Jonas Eklundh is the effect of the truth that Trotskyites have been instructed to be in charge of indoctrinating children. It is not mere happenstance that he is a senseless Marxist. Jonas Eklundh is a nitwit advocates have blocked his bot posts. What he really can not make is a bot that keeps switching names, then they'd have a possibility at being one quarter as bothersome as he is.
Another successful Linux test. That is if you count slow and buggy as a success.
What's Jonas Eklundh's tool for the flooding nonsense? SC? That is the only tool he knows, and it is a joke. He must be abusing it to create these annoying "obsession" garbage posts. Best idea, Jonas Eklundh took a FireFox extension that he pirated and declared it his... he's feeding it F. Russell's posts, grabbing random paragraphs, then mangling those using the MaxCliqueDyn Maximum Clique algorithm and then he hand posts them because his insomnia enables him to do that practically round-the-clock. F. Russell has been around to completely comprehend the depths of the guy's depravity. Already moved on from that. Keep up!
Don't look now, but I think Jonas Eklundh has a serious brocrush on F. Russell.

No matter what the trolls say. I can tell Snit Glasser does not even know what is wrong with Clinton. Now Klaus Schadenfreude on the other end of the shit doesn't matter. All that matters is Snit Glasser gets to deliver his flood. So how to win? Don't pay attention the post. Honest discussion isn't part of sport and never can be. Heck, just recently he was declaring himself the only "true Linux advocate", and claiming that "advocates" (in scare-quotes) are actively working against the success of desktop Linux. Can you get a little less dense? But when the charts were produced, it turns out beyond any doubt, Sockboy was far more "fanatical" than even I imagined. Where did you go to school? I'm pretty certain the hardware is not faulty. I've run all the onboard diagnostics, no issues. It works fine with Linux — and it will probably will work okay with Winshit when I reinstall the Malware Magnet OS, at least it will probably work fine until the next update. I've finally reconciled myself to the inevitable. Use Linux Mint to back up my wife's files and reinstall Winshit from scratch. It's the "Winshit way." -- The more I see of Windows, the more I like Linux.

So how did you load Linux on the machine and then revert back to your Windows woes that your wife is dealing with? I think you are full of shit.

Was Linux installed on the machine for a significant enough time to be absolutely sure that it "works fine." Not the machine. When a machine is working fine, and Winshit updates itself and THEN the machine blows up, the probable cause is Winshit, not the equipment. You sound Microshit support, who are constantly deflecting you with useless questions and "fixes" so you'll doubt the fact that Winshit really is crap and really does screw the pooch on updates (as demonstrated by thousands upon thousands of articles online). The reality... 1) Good working machine 2) Winshit update happens 3) Hobbyware OS no longer boots Conclusion: Winshit screwed the pooch again. -- The more I see of Windows, the more I like Linux.
