I have to admit that Wretched Stallman's contribution to free software 
is mostly philosophical. Sure, GCC was at the core of what came later, 
but you don't go far without a kernel and GNU Hurd is a testament to that.

It's funny how much anti-Linux people obsess over Stallman. I know he exists 
and that he was instrumental in setting up the Gnu license, and that's about 
all I know about him. Linux users aren't prone to hero worship, like 
WinDrones and iCultists.

I'd like to convince myself that Rex Ballard isn't a heathen but anyone 
who changes their gender, to me, is not worth talking to. Regardless of 
what I might think about the Catholic church and its teachings at the 
moment (I dislike the Pope and see him as one of many anti-Christs), 
there is no way that I would ever accept a person who removed the 
genitals they were born with in a vain effort to pretend that they were 
part of the opposite gender. I would need to be mentally ill for that.

For all the boasting Klaus Schadenfreude's done on this topic, the 'Social Media Manager' does not understand how to do this. It seriously takes a couple seconds to click and drag across a paragraph and 'reverse' it. 

I think the point is more than to get innocent posters to listen to him. The point is likely to piss me off for trolling outside groups he knows I frequent. 

From what I've seen it looks like the GNU/Linux ecosystem is getting better. 

Given how repeatedly it is clear that Klaus Schadenfreude's .sig file is some distortion of a statement Sandman shared which had been a beating on Klaus Schadenfreude for something he did which was stupid/fallacious/etc... its truly a common expression of Klaus Schadenfreude's ever-present unease for having been so frequently crushed: Klaus Schadenfreude is demonstrably not able of dealing with this group.

Generally, I don't call a post like Desk Rabbit's posts an outright lie until you disprove it and Desk Rabbit responds with the nothing but repetition without offering any evidence. Desk Rabbit's posts are totally in all respects dishonest. There is no question that as soon as any past 'person in his KF' does whatever to wound the poor namby-pamby's feelings that they will be reblocked. Regardless of my reasoned findings about CentOS, I even now continue to use it for newbies who have had problems with Windows 7, especially if I know that they aren't good at troubleshooting and sending / receiving emails.

Apple fans seem to be almost as bad as Linux zealots when it comes to
worshipping the product or leaders. The difference is Apple fans tend to be
reasonable people while Linux advocates are crazed kooks.

Apple has created a culture where people are willing to grossly overpay for
a product they deem superior. They don't necessarily expect others to agree
with them nor are they out to change the world.

Linux's culture is composed mainly of people on some kind of religious
pilgrimage against the establishment and the sad part is the things that
Linux does well gets lost in all the noise from the community.

It's almost impossible to read articles about Linux without having to read
crap like this RonB kook writes, or similar. It has all the trappings of a
religious movement in my opinion.

Windows fits neither of these molds, at least from my experience.
Maybe that's one reason why the Windows Usenet groups are stagnant?

I am an "Apple fan" in that I like many Apple products (though also 
loath some others, such as their mice). But to me it is about what tool 
serves me best... I do not really care much about their leaders (though 
Jobs did have an incredible level of insight / understanding of 
computing AND was an unbelievable ass).

There are absolutely things I do not like about Macs... the fact I 
cannot (easily) even replace a hard drive is absurd. But overall they 
serve me better at a lower price than the competition, so I use them.

A lot of truth to that. In COLA we see a very cult-like mentality, and 
it is hardly unique to this group.
