In a debate about racism, Snit (a white man) said this to me (a white man): "Boo hoo for you feeling like you are not getting what you think you are entitled to." In response, I asked him a simple Yes or No question: "Would you say that to a black man?" Not surprisingly, Snit tap-danced, spewing a multitude of irrelevant blah blah blah posts, never answering the question. (He will likely do the same in reply to this post). Snit is AFRAID to answer that question, because it would expose his HATEFUL ANTI-WHITE RACISM. Now of course there a many liberal whites who go overboard with their compassion for minorities and are quick to take up the banner for every Social Justice cause du jour, but while searching for some good insult material as I sparred with Snit in that thread, I stumbled across something disturbing, which now leads me to ask the following: Is Snit just your typical white liberal obsessed with "white guilt" or is something more sinister at work? http://blogs.timesofisrael.com/ashkenazi-jews-are-not-white-response-to-haaretz-article/ <quote> Every time I read about a Jew somewhere identifying as a white person, I cringe. All I can say to anyone who would believe that I am "privileged" for being a white male is that I had to work extra had from adolescence on to prove myself as a result of a skin issue which, in the eyes of employers, lowered what they saw as my initial value. Add to that the fact that not one of my ancestors has ever done a thing to negroes or even benefited from slavery and I can proudly dismiss myself from any abuse caused by their belief that I am "privileged." My family also struggled much in the same way theirs do as I grew up... Hell, my parents lived in Communism with no hope of ever escaping from it so if anything, we've had it a lot worse than they have. -- Silver Slimer
