Vallor proved himself to be a bigot by claiming he would not argue with Jonas Eklundh via trumpeting 'Into the bin with you!' and then berating him again through another poster. After Jonas Eklundh's update I no longer want to gouge out my eyeballs from the flicker of the screen. Vallor doesn't know if there is a encumbered open source that promotes PEE. Until Vallor offers up his 'top-of-the-line' Windows system for review, there is no challenge, just wild assertions. Vallor wants to punish us: If Vallor can't get attention here then nobody will. Was that meant to be clever? What do you get out of lying?

Advertising is a wonderful thing and consumer ignorance is even better.

There was a bug in an older browser (was it an iPhone?) what caused it
to check only the first <SOURCE>, and this browser required MP4. For
this reason, a lot of web pages have MP4 first. This doesn't seem to
cause a problem. On a browser that doesn't recognize MP4, it should fall
through properly.

I see you have included the TYPE attribute of source. It's even better
to include codecs. This is an example of what I have:

<VIDEO HEIGHT="240" WIDTH="320" CONTROLS>
   <SOURCE SRC="/video/xmas2008.mp4" TYPE='video/mp4;
codecs="avc1.4D401E, mp4a.40.2"' />
   <SOURCE SRC="/video/xmas2008.webm" TYPE='video/webm;
codecs="vp8,vorbis"' />
   <SOURCE SRC="/video/xmas2008.ogg" TYPE='video/ogg;
codecs="theora,vorbis"' />
</VIDEO>

The codecs listed here seem to work with the standard video formats
(although not with a misnamed MP4).

Thanks ! Will give it a try. My size is handled in a style in the header
of the page I use it in

<style>

	video {

     		max-width: 100%;

     		height: auto;

	}

</style>

this way the size moves as the size of the browser moves

Jesus Christ can't get anything else to work, either.

Now that nobody is speaking to Jesus Christ, he's making it sound like he's gotten what he wants -- when in fact, people are just finally wisening up to his crap. And given how regularly it is clear that Jesus Christ's .sig file is some misquote of a quote F. Russell made which had been a beating on Jesus Christ for something he did which was ill-considered/false/etc... its really a regular sign of Jesus Christ's continuing unease for having been so often pwned.

Earlier today, Carroll, you accused me of lying about your flood bot

And I left out that the codecs= line helps the browser know when it
can't play a file, so it can move on tho the next one.

Sounds like a good idea. I have several such in my page. One piece of
website testing I to is to try to make everything reasonable (with no
horizontal scrolling) in the narrowest window that FF will allow.

Yes, with obvious scripted sessions. Not saying some of it isn't manual.

For "later" to occur!

That's a running tally of Snit's non-sock posts and his flooding during the
last month. It'll update automatically and always show the last two months.

As per suggestion the file I thought was an OGG video was still an MP4

In the convert options of VLC I didn't select a "profile"

now, these were done from:

https://github.com/dalekellytoo/website/blob/master/images/Capture_20161219_2.mp4

<https://github.com/dalekellytoo/website/blob/master/images/Capture_20161219_2.mp4>

to:

https://github.com/dalekellytoo/website/blob/master/images/Capture_20161219_2.ogg

<https://github.com/dalekellytoo/website/blob/master/images/Capture_20161219_2.ogg>

using the Video - Theora + Vorbis (OGG) profile

it opens in Firefox, which was a problem noted

you can see my HTML5 implementation:

https://github.com/dalekellytoo/website/blob/master/weblog.html

<https://github.com/dalekellytoo/website/blob/master/weblog.html>

on the "BLOG" selection in the site in my signature

How is LibreOffice on Linux doing anything above the lowest common denominator? Ending support for Mac Classic is what it comes down to. The only way that I could disregard Elementary OS's constant demand for maintenance because of undefined issues or flaky features is if I consumed the unending amount of pipe dreams its community have been pushing since 2018.

Linux offers the least of any of the competition. chrisv's actions are thoroughly duplicitous. There can be zero doubt that as soon as any past 'plonked person' does something to hurt the poor snowflake's feelings that they'll be replonked. All that he cares about is that chrisv gets to dish out his crank call and then hang up and giggle about it. The fact that Takuya Saitoh is a real person on the other end of the phone is his motivation. Takuya Saitoh and Schrödinger had their successes and their humiliations. But one played it cool and didn't do anything too publicly that could not be proved with tricks. You used it and did extensive testing and your "extensive experience" lead you to that conclusion, and... Unfortunately there are too many "lowest common denominator is fine" Linux users and not enough old school users with a clue enough to help the people with Macs.

He is unmistakably lying, he got busted and he's doing the familiar ego protecting BS learned in https://goo.gl/cc6Noz as he aims to regain a hint of legitimacy... but it won't work.

It seems to be working now.

Thanks to Jonas Eklundh Communication AB and his 'convenient friends' you now need a recognized list. If Jeff Relf and others start trolling him again I will jump in... as I promised. I am referring to advocates here, not drive by loons, who have been responding to him all along. Until or unless Jonas Eklundh Communication AB offers up his 'first-rate' open source tool for review, there is no challenge, just irrational assertions. He's plainly flooding, he got scared and he's doing the normal role-reversal pranks learned in trolling 101 as he tries to retain what Jeff Relf already has... but it won't work. I bet he thinks his wife's life was fun.

So he changed his story to posting about his business. Linux offers the least of everything to the average user. It was Jonas Eklundh Communication AB who got busted using hundreds of puppets for years, and these are 'people' who come literally out of the blue immediately into threads where he was being ripped apart... over and over for years.
