" Is this deliberate, such as by denying FOIA requests, or is this due to some other factor, such as resource limitations, fragmentation of data provided to the Feds from the States, etc? > "2. Available evidence suggests that illegals are more likely to > commit crimes than the rest of the population." As per Fox and unsubstantiated. Fortunately, more scientifically credible researchers have studied this and found effectively the opposite to be the indicated trend: "MOSTLY TRUE: Undocumented immigrants less likely to commit crimes than U.S. citizens" <https://www.politifact.com/california/statements/2017/aug/03/antonio-villaraigosa/mostly-true-undocumented-immigrants-less-likely-co/> > "3. Almost 50 percent of federal crimes were committed near the > Mexico border." Because most crimes aren't Federal level, but State. This does go on to note "most of the offenses were immigration related", which by definition _can't_ be a State crime. A good question to ask is what percentage of all crimes are Federal, for otherwise you lack context. > "4. Illegal immigrants accounted for nearly 75 percent of federal > drug sentences in 2014." But once again, this is at the Federal level, not State, particularly when it comes to trafficking. Again, the necessary question to ask is what percentage of all drug sentences are at the State vs Federal levels and this information for context wasn't provided. As such, you don't know if this 75% is of only 1% of the total or not. > "5. A disproportionate amount of illegals are in state prisons." Because the Feds ran out of room? Because as a class they receive an inferior defense? Why is important. > And on and on... Yeah, and they don't get any better: "9. Crime has also increased among major cities that..." But: "In September, the Brennan Center analyzed available crime data from the nation’s 30 largest cities, estimating that these cities would see a slight decline in all measures of crime in 2017. The report, Crime in 2017: A Preliminary Analysis, concluded by noting that “these findings directly undercut any claim that the nation is experiencing a crime wave.” 1 • The overall crime rate in the 30 largest cities in 2017 is estimated to decline slightly from the previous year, falling by 2.7 percent. If this trend holds, crime rates will remain near historic lows.2 • The violent crime rate will also decrease slightly, by 1.1 percent, essentially remaining stable. Violent crime remains near the bottom of the nation’s 30-year downward trend." <https://www.brennancenter.org/sites/default/files/analysis/Crime_in_2017_Updated_Analysis.pdf> Your 'Daily Wire' got this one wrong too. What was "caused" was the spill of pollution, but the pollution itself had been created by the private property owner who had made the choice to have not rectified it previously on his own. If the owner had done what he was supposed to have done, then the IRS would have never gotten involved. Plus reading that URL is invalid logic, since it also is factually incorrect, because at the time of its publication, the IRS had already agreed to pay for the immediate emergency costs. > > Pathetic & lying loser you are, "Slimer". > > *plonk* Socialist pansy. Run away and hide...but it still doesn't change the truth: You can't dispute that Constitutionally, rights are rights, so your claim about the quantity doesn't matter. You can't dispute that your "by millions per year" claim is a gross exaggeration. You can't dispute that US Foreign Policy has fucked up many of the countries that these refugees are trying to escape from. You can't dispute that it *still* wasn't the EPA who created the pollution in the first place. -hh

He must be programming it to write these idiotic "spam" garbage posts. Here is my guess, Jeff-Relf.Me took some code that he pirated and try to sell online... he's feeding it Google Groups data, grabbing random paragraphs, then scrambling those using a Markv model and then he actively posts them because his obsessiveness enables him to do that close to 24/7. "Well, that wasn't hard" said Jeff-Relf.Me's husband. It was Jeff-Relf.Me who forged me (and others) and bragged about it. The Mac has a more consistent interface. Klaus Schadenfreude has proved this time and time again. Of course my unedited statement stands proper and correct. Jeff-Relf.Me claims to be the MySQL-authority. Let's see him put up a form minus the data correction loops. - Get Rich Slow http://www.5z8.info/how-to-build-a-bomb_h2o1be_peepshow https://www.facebook.com/jenny.eklund https://youtu.be/D_so1dvjeyI Jonas Eklundh Communication AB

Simply a propaganda play on emotions. Sure... and we all know there is a border agent every 500 feet along that 2000 mile stretch so there are no crimes that ever go unreported. This is how we can guarantee that all stats on border crime are a 100% accurate reflection of the conditions of the ground. Put another way, WTF are you smoking, airhead?

Right, it's 'irrational' to recognize the fact that border agents are overrun... but it's 'rational' to make a bet on something that has *no* chance of being adjudicated to the satisfaction of both parties (because of how ridiculously absurd it is). Sure as hell are, “Steve”, because unreported doesn’t matter unless you have hard data that objectively shows that the rate of unreported has materially and significantly changed. Because crime is still at decades-long lows. >> > Meanwhile... as tons of illegal immigrants swarm across the southern >> > U.S. border and the drugs flow free, somewhere... >> >> More innuendo with no factual confirmation at any level. Considering that there’s something like 2x to 3x more border agents today than there were ~20 years ago, the rate of unreporteds should be expected to be lower today than prior. This makes the “record lows” reports even more reliable. > This is how we can guarantee that all stats on border crime are a 100% accurate > reflection of the conditions of the ground. Goal post move “Steve”, as 100% accuracy was never a claim nor a requirement. There’s no evidence that the statistical confidence has declined, and in some areas, there’s reasons to logically expect that they’ve improved. But that doesn’t suit your partisan, emotions-driven agenda of Fascism. -hh

The idea that border crime stats are as reliable as non-border is silly. The reality of the terrain alone blows that idea apart. What's at stake for the drug lords, gangs, etc., provides the means and opportunity for corruption to be *much* higher than 'normal' in an enforcement agency. You don't know what you don't know and stats don't help, certainly not enough to make a solid claim that border crime *is* lower than non-border crime. Those with emotions-driven agendas are often found in the 'stats' crowd, who are certain there numbers tell the story so they defend them beyond all logical reasoning. Stats have their place, but that place can't tell how something *is* when it comes to things like crime, they only tell you how things *appear* to be. Only a fool would suggest otherwise.

The crime rates in U.S. border counties are lower than the average for similarly sized inland counties, with two exceptions out of 23 total, according to an upcoming analysis by the Mexico Institute at the Wilson Center, a Washington think tank. “There is no doubt, the U.S. side [of the border] is a very safe place,” said Christopher Wilson, deputy director of the institute. There are a few general conclusions as to why this is the case. There is a substantial federal law enforcement presence in towns and along highways in the border counties. And migrants — both documented and undocumented — are careful to avoid law enforcement so as to not endanger their immigration status; their lower rates of committing crimes compared with U.S.-born citizens reflect that. ----- There are some caveats and other considerations in the article... worth it to read. >>> This is how we can guarantee that all stats on border crime are a 100% accurate >>> reflection of the conditions of the ground. >> >> Goal post move “Steve”, as 100% accuracy was never a claim nor a requirement. >> >> There’s no evidence that the statistical confidence has declined, and in some >> areas, there’s reasons to logically expect that they’ve improved.
